PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber array having a high positional precision, wherein the volume variance at the time of hardening of a resin filled around an optical fiber is reduced and peeling from the member of the optical fiber is reduced. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber array having such a structure that at least one optical fiber is arranged and fixed between two plate members opposed to each other and spaces between the two plate members and between the plate members and the optical fiber are filled with a resin hardened material, the resin hardened material is a photosetting resin hardened material containing one or more kinds of compounds having at least a terpene skeleton.
