PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the cost by discharging water by stages in simple constitution and accurately setting the delay time of preliminarily announced discharge. SOLUTION: This automatic valve device is provided with a first discharge passage in which when a starting valve 12 is operated, primary side pressure water is supplied to an open type pressurized cylinder chamber 34a of a main cylinder 34 in an automatic valve 10 to pass through a spool passage 60 from the closed pressurizing side of the main cylinder 34 with the movement of a main piston 32 and flow to the secondary side of the automatic valve 10 through a discharge port S1 and pipes L4, L5. When the main piston 32 reaches the initial opening, a seal 62 intercepts a spool passage 64 to stop the main piston 32. An initial discharge pressure control valve 15 is operated by predetermined initial discharge pressure generated on the secondary side after a main valve 30 is opened to the initial opening to form a second discharge passage extending from a cylinder port C2 through the pipes L4, L5 to the secondary side of the automatic valve 10, thereby releasing the stop of the main piston 32. In a pressure regulating valve 16, the initial state is low-pressure preset for preliminarily announced discharge, and setting of low pressure is switched to setting of specified pressure for final discharge in the lapse of predetermined delay time by movement of the piston due to the control of inflow and outflow quantity of the secondary side pressure water.
