PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit for a wheel, reducing deformation of an inner ring to the utmost in caulking without a binding tool, and preventing deterioration of performance. SOLUTION: The outside diameter of a caulking part of a terminal part is made smaller than the fitting part of an inner ring element, and the starting point of the small-diameter part is positioned between the starting point of a chamfered part of the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring element and the vehicle side end face of the inner ring element.
