PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press type pipe joint for use in a double-layer pipe formed by applying a resin coating on the outer surface of a thin small bore diameter metallic pipe, facilitating connection, securing sealing ability, and having high-grade pull-out resistance. SOLUTION: An inner cylinder part 6 having an outside diameter to which the double-layer pipe 5 formed by applying the resin coating 4 to the outer surface of the thin metallic pipe 3 is externally fitted through a step part 2 is projected on the joint body 1, a suitable number of grooves 7 are provided in a suitable part of the inner cylinder part 5, a sealing material 8 is mounted on each of the grooves 7, and a several angled rugged part 9 having a gentle curved surface is connected to the outer surface of the inner cylinder part 6 closer to the step part 2. At the back of the step part 2 of the joint body 1, a ring 11, the side of which is provided with a window part 10 for observing insertion of the double-layer pipe 3, is locked to freely rotate, and an outer cylinder part 12 externally fitted to the double-layer pipe 5 is held on the inner surface of the ring 11.
