PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a chilled dessert, from which the chilled dessert can be smoothly taken out by tearing the container squarely into two. SOLUTION: A container body to be filled with the chilled dessert is formed to be hemispherical. A pair of right and left tabs are made to protrude outwardly from the periphery of an opening of the container body. A guide for tearing having a starting point in the vicinity of a region interposed between the pair of tabs is provided along the maximum semicircular periphery of the container body and at the position for laterally dividing the container body into two.
