PEDESTRIAN PROTECTING DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protecting device having a sensor easily adjustable in sensitivity. SOLUTION: The pedestrian protecting device for an automobile has a damping constitution between an outside wall and a supporting section 10. The damping constitution has a buffer material 12 for energy absorption. The pedestrian protecting device further has an electric sensor constitution. The sensor constitution has at least one sensor 14 for detecting impact. The sensor is assembled in the damping constitution with a predetermined assembling form depending parameter changing according to the part of the installation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
