PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide ring that is produced by using a precision casting method, has relatively excellent appearance by integrated molding, forms a constitution by a uniform metal phase, increases the strength of structure, has a prolonged use life, and heightens texture of finished product, additional value and degree of freedom of design of due to application of a metal material having high hardness and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The method for producing a guide ring for a fishing rod comprises a step of forming a wax mold having a predetermined shape of a guide ring by injection molding of wax, a step for forming a ceramic shell by coating the wax mold, a step for dewaxing by heating, a step for forming the workpiece of a guide ring by injecting a molten metal to the ceramic shell and a step for finishing the finished product of the guide ring by processing the workpiece.
