The invention relates to a plug valve for liquefied gas containers and, more specifically, to plug valves of the type that are installed in the openings of liquefied gas containers for industrial and domestic use. The inventive valve closes automatically and opens with the aid of a push device which is built into a control valve which, together with a pressure-reducing valve, controls the flow of gas supplied to a gas-consuming appliance. According to the invention, the ball (23) of the ball-plug (3) is equipped with a slide appendage (24) which is perpendicular to the sealing plane and which is provided with a straight section such as to prevent the rotation thereof. The aforementioned slide is disposed in line with, and can slide in relation to, a guide hole (25) which is provided in the base (22) of the spring body (6) of the support case (2). |
