The method involves selecting an object on a Website of the Internet by a user. A recommendation field on the Website is made available for the object assigned. The recommendation field is activated for passing on of information about the object from the user to an addressee. A purchase confirmation of the addressee of the object recommended by the user is implemented and communicated to the user. The passing on of the information about a link reference to the addressee takes place, preferably by email, SMS, TV or multimedially. An independent claim is included for a system for recommending an object.
