METHOD FOR MODELING EXPERIMENTAL POLYURIC FORM OF ACUTE RENAL INSUFFICIENCY

The method for modeling the experimental polyuric form of the acute renal insufficiency in rats comprises the subcutaneous injection of 1% aqueous solution of lead chloride at a dose of 5 mg/kg while the animals are maintained with 0.9% solution of sodium chloride as the drinking solution. Starting from the third day, the rats are allowed to drink the tap water instead of 0.9% solution of sodium chloride.
