<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a developing apparatus where a developing tank for forming a toner image can be attached to an appropriate attachment position without causing toner-scattering, the breakage of the apparatus and the insufficient insertion of the developing tank, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A developing tank attaching unit is provided with: protrusions 32 (32a to 32d) and recesses 33 (33a and 33b) on the developing tank 2, and protrusions 29a/29b on abutting members 26a/26b. In the case of inserting the developing tank 2 into a developing tank holder 24, after the protrusions 32a/32c of the developing tank 2 ride over the protrusions 29a/29b of the abutting members 26, the developing tank 2 is pushed up by the abutting members 26 in a state that the recesses 33 of the developing tank 2 are engaged with the protrusions 29 of the abutting members 26, and the developing tank 2 is brought in press contact with a photoreceptor, then, the developing tank 2 for forming the toner image is inserted into the appropriate attachment position, and the developing tank 2 is appropriately made in press contact with the photoreceptor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
