<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezo oscillator which can perform the temperature characteristic inspection of the piezo oscillator in a large amount at once and which can aim at shortening of an inspecting time duration and reduction of an inspection cost. <P>SOLUTION: The piezo oscillator includes a piezoelectric oscillating piece, an oscillation circuit 100 having a circuit for exciting the piezoelectric oscillating piece, a frequency detector 110 for detecting the output frequency of the oscillation circuit 100, a variation detector 120 for obtaining the variation or the change rate of the output frequency in association with the variation of the temperature based on the detection signal of the frequency detector 110, a judging unit 130 for judging the existence of the fault variation of the output frequency by comparing the amplitude of the change of the obtained output frequency of the change detector 120 with a set value, and a storage unit 140 for storing the judged result outputted from the judging unit 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
