<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which a client can recognize even speech input nearly in a natural language, and efficient speech recognition processing can be performed as to a server and a client (terminal) connected through a network. <P>SOLUTION: The computer network system comprises a server computer device and a client computer device connected with each other through the network, wherein (1) the server computer device is equipped with a 2nd speech recognition engine, (2) the client computer device is equipped with a 2nd speech recognition engine, and (3) the client computer device is equipped with a speech recognition engine selection means to judge which of the 1st and 2nd speech recognition engines performs the processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
