<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the manufacturing cost by simplifying the fitting structure of a slide pin without impairing slidability of a caliper body. <P>SOLUTION: A caliper bag hole 6e and a bracket bag hole 3f are coaxially formed opposite to each other in the caliper body 6 and the bracket 3, respectively, and a sub-slide pin 5 is stored. The dimensions of both bag holes 3f, 63 and one slide pin 5 are set so that when new friction pads 7, 7 are in the non-braking state, the opening parts 3g, 6g of both bag holes 3f, 6e do not come into contact with each other, and both ends 5a, 5b of one slide pin 5 do not come into contact with the bottoms 3h, 6h, and further when the fully worn-away friction pads 7, 7 are in the braking state, with one end 5a of one slide pin 5 abutted on the bottom of one bag hole, the other end 5b of the slide pin 5 is not slipped out of the other bag hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
