PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent rainwater from infiltrating into the inside of an apparatus body by enhancing water-tightness on the back side of the apparatus body in a wall fixing type lighting apparatus. SOLUTION: An almost dish-shaped mounting bracket 7 having a substrate 71, a peripheral wall 72, and a flange 73 are mounted on a wall surface W via a waterproof packing 6. A bolt 83 for connecting the body to protrude forward is mounted on the substrate 71 of this mounting bracket 7. The apparatus body 2 has an opening on the back side and is formed so that the outside of the flange 73 of the mounting bracket 7 is covered with the inner diameter of its periphery 22, and the inner periphery of the opening is provided with a stepped part 23 abutting a front surface of the flange 73. The mounting bracket 7 is covered with this apparatus body 2, the bolt 83 for connecting the body is inserted into a bolt insertion hole 25 formed on the apparatus body 2, and a nut member 84 is fastened from the front surface side.
