PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high lifting without enlarging a drain pump, in a drain pump that can adjusting discharge flow rate depending on the water level. SOLUTION: The drain pump 108 rotating has a pump casing 184 and an impeller 182. The impeller 182 rotating around a shaft part as a center, has: the shaft part 191 extending in a perpendicular direction inside the pump casing 184; a plurality of main blades 192 radially disposed on an outer circumferential side of the shaft part 191; and auxiliary blades 194 disposed under the main blades 192; disc pan parts 193 disposed between the main blades 192 and auxiliary blades 194 and each having an opening parts 193a at the center. The pan part 193 further has: a first part 198a formed on an outer circumferential side of the opening part 193a; and a second part 198b formed on an outer circumferential side of the first part 198a. Difference S in level is formed between an inner peripheral edge part of an upper face of the second part 198b and an outer peripheral part of an upper face of the first part 198a.
