PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flat tubular structure formed by using a long fiber as a raw material and having drawability and high loft properties, to provide the structure, and to provide an apparatus for forming the same. SOLUTION: This method for producing the continuous flat tubular structure comprises using a twist-processed long fiber belt as the raw material and forming the structure by developing, drawing, and cross-forming processes and facilities. The flat tubular structure has necessary uniformity, average tensile strength, dimensional stability, and stretchability, especially, has high stretchability, and therefore is applied to a fiber net for a sleeping bag, a heat-insulating medicinal appliance, a bed, or other uses.
