摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device capable of carrying a heavy object of≥1 ton with a wider movable range than that in a conventional handling robot, being used as also a positioner, performing the positioning with high accuracy, and mounting robots of various kinds of uses for welding or painting to perform works of the uses. SOLUTION: In this device, a table is reciprocatively movably provided in a rail, a support is normally/reversely rotatably provided on the table, an arm mounted sideways on the support is made reciprocatively movable in the horizontal direction and is made elevatable along the support, a head mounted at a distal end of the arm is made normally/reversely rotatable, and a tool mount mounted on the head is made normally/reversely rotatable, to make a 6-axis operation possible. A tool according to the work is mounted on the tool mount, and an article is held by the tool and can be carried.
