METHOD FOR PRODUCING ADSORBENT FROM SEWAGE SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an adsorbent from sewage sludge discarded usually. SOLUTION: The adsorbent is produced by: selectively recovering a fibrous component from the sludge of a first sedimentation basin which is generated from a facility for biologically treating organic dirty water such as sewage and contains the fibrous component plentifully or the sludge gravity-separated at the preceding step of a biological treatment step equivalent to the above-mentioned facility; removing moisture from the fibrous component-removed sludge; pulverizing the moisture-removed sludge into fine powder; mixing a thermosetting resin in the obtained fine powder; and heating the thermosetting resin-mixed powder.
