PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a vacuum cleaner that the workability is not favorable, for example, when moving it while cleaning, a worker pulls around a relatively heavy cleaner body via hose body with the hand holding a handle. SOLUTION: The cleaner body 1 is provided with rear wheels 14, a floor brush 8 is provided with a brush rear wheel 76 and the traveling directions of the rear wheels 14 and the brush rear wheel 76 can be changed respectively. When the rear wheels 14 are set to an advance and the brush rear wheel 76 is set to the advance corresponding to the traveling direction of the rear wheels 14, an angle between respective extension wands 4 and 6 is changed by raising/lowering the handle 136, when the angle becomes larger, the floor brush 8 alone advances and, when the angle becomes smaller, the cleaner body 1 alone advances, so that the cleaner body 1 and the floor brush 8 can be easily moved by just raising/lowering the handle 136 to improve the cleaning performance.
