Head for broad-zoned hard-facing using transverse magnetic contains the unit for supply of current to the tape consisting of contact plate fixed from one side of the tape and set of spring-loaded contact elements from other side, and sectional electromagnets spring-opposed. Electromagnets are the components of multi-polar electromagnetic system and contain pivotal cylindrical cores, entire external surface of which encloses the coils of magnetization located in shielding containers located on both sides of tape, internal cavities of which are the components of the feed system of shielding gas.The unit of current supply to the tape is integrated with feed unit of tape located directly above the zone of hard-facing and consisting of two shafts located from both sides of tape with possibility of rotation in the opposite directions.
