<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection member that is easy in attachment and detachment and can be wired even in the vicinity of a movable portion. <P>SOLUTION: The protection member 10 has such a configuration that a leg 14 is arranged at the edge of a cover 12, and the material of the protection member 10 is formed of a material such as a synthetic resin having elasticity as well as the leg 14 has elasticity so as to be openable and closable. The leg 14 is arranged at the edge of the cover 12 in a direction crossing to the edge, and a protrusion 16 that is engaged with a board 20 on which a member 22 to be protected is arranged and fixes the protection member 10 is formed at an end tip 14b that is opposed to the member 22 to be protected and covers the member to be protected from both side faces. The end tip 14b is outwardly opened with a connecting point 14c between the leg 14 and the cover 12 as a fulcrum by pressing the other end 14a of the leg 14 in a direction indicated by an arrow in Fig. by a worker, and the edge 21 of the board 20 is pinched by the protrusion 16.
