<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive composite film of a polyarylene having sulfonic acid groups which can improve the strength, toughness and hot water resistance without spoiling proton conductivity, and a method for producing the film. <P>SOLUTION: In the proton conductive composite film, at least two proton conductive films of the polyarylene having sulfonic acid groups are laminated. At least two proton conductive layers are made of the polyarylene having sulfonic acid groups having different ion exchange capacities. In the method for producing the proton conductive composite film, in the production of the proton conductive film described in Claim 1 by laminating the proton conductive film of the polyarylene having at least two sulfonic acid groups, the proton conductive film is made to adhere by using a solution prepared by dissolving the polyarylene having the sulfonic acid groups in an alcoholic solvent or an aprotic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
