<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling a rotary machine capable of lowering the maximum temperature of an inverter circuit when the rotary electric machine comes into very low rotation state during PWM control. <P>SOLUTION: A modulation offset calculation part 25 calculates an offset voltage value to be synthesized with a phase voltage command value based on a weight factor calculated from a torque command value to a motor by a weight factor calculation part 22, a target voltage value calculated from a power supply voltage value and a target duty by an offset target value calculating part 23, and the magnitude and order of phase voltage command values (Vu, Vv, and Vw) judged by a phase voltage order judging part 24 when synthesizing of the offset voltage value to the phase voltage command value is permitted after the motor is judged to be in stall state by a PWM mode judging part 21. A voltage synthesizing calculation part 26 synthesizes the offset voltage value with the phase voltage command values (Vu, Vv, and Vw) to generate new phase voltage command values (Vu', Vv', and Vw'). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
