<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet which, in detail, shows a favorable ink absorption, high gloss, and an improvement in gloss uniformity of a blank part/an image part of an image formed with a pigmented ink, with regard to a recording medium best-suited for inkjet recording, and a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording sheet, the inkjet recording sheet is prepared by applying a surface layer which contains an inorganic particulate with an average index of refraction of 2.1 to 2.9 and a hydrophilic binder to a support, and after or simultaneously with the application of the surface layer, applying a coating liquid containing a hardener to a hydrophilic binder contained in the surface layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
