PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that is structured in a form allowing a cell manufactured as a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery improved in resistance against overcharge or the like to be generally used. SOLUTION: This battery is so structured that a positive electrode terminal member 21 is jointed to a sealing plate 12 of the cell 10; a negative electrode terminal member 22 is jointed to a negative electrode cap 13; a frame body 25 is mounted by covering at least the upper surface of the sealing plate 12; an insulation sheet 24 is wound around the circumferential surface of the cell 10; and a probe can be inserted from a positive electrode terminal hole 26 and a negative electrode terminal hole 27 formed in the frame body 25.
