PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat shielding structure for an exhaust manifold and a catalyst, for efficiently radiating heat from the exhaust manifold and catalyst. SOLUTION: In heat shielding structure 10 for an exhaust manifold and a catalyst, a connecting part 17 is inclined downward from an exhaust manifold 12 side to a catalyst 15 side, which connecting part 17 longitudinally connects the exhaust manifold 12 with the catalyst 15. A bent flange 19 is formed in the connecting part 17 to be opened on the catalyst 15 side, an exhaust manifold heat shield cover 20 is disposed to cover an upper face 21 of the exhaust manifold 12 so that its rear end 26 is positioned above an opening end 41 of the bent flange 19, and a catalyst heat shielding part cover 30 to cover an upper face 31 of the catalyst 15 is disposed so that its front end 36 is positioned below the opening end 41 of the bent flange 19.
