PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently provide a coil end with a cooling medium. SOLUTION: The cooling device for a motor includes an oil pipe 100 which is provided to the outer peripheral side of a stator 102 and has discharge openings 110 for discharging oil to a stator coil end 104, in two directions of the rotor 106 and the stator 102 different from that of the rotor 106. The supplied amount of the oil discharged to the stator coil end 104 of the stator 102 peripheral direction different from the direction of the rotor 106 is larger than that discharged to the stator coil end 104 in the direction of the rotor 106.
