PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the fluctuation of optical characteristics due to the insertion/detachment of an infrared cut filter into/from an optical path. SOLUTION: Regarding the imaging lens 2 capable of selectively performing photographing with low-illuminance and normal photographing by inserting/detaching the infrared cut filter 5 into/from the optical path, the infrared cut filter is formed by applying a vapor-deposited film having an effect of cutting infrared rays on an organic substance substrate, and the organic substance substrate and the vapor-deposited film satisfy a conditional inequality (1) d×(n-1)<0.15, provided that (d) denotes the thickness of the infrared cut filter and (n) denotes a refractive index in the (d) line of the organic substrate.
