PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof panel mounting structure which facilitates mounting of a soundproof panel on supports and enhances the fixing strength of the soundproof panel to the support, and to provide a sound insulating wall. SOLUTION: As shown in the figure, areas in the vicinity of ends of the soundproof panel 20 are fitted and fixed into mounting slots 14 formed in respective mounting metal fittings 1, and therefore positioning or the like of the soundproof panel is facilitated by virtue of the mounting slots 14 even if the soundproof panel is mounted on the supports by means of bolts etc., leading to simple mounting of the soundproof panel 20 on the supports 30. Further by fitting the areas in the vicinity of the ends of the soundproof panel 20 into the mounting slots 14, respectively, the mounting strength of the soundproof panel 20 does not depend only on areas in the vicinity of respective mounting portions, and therefore the fixing strength of the soundproof panel to the support 30 is enhanced.
