PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal colloidal solution comprising a water based dispersion medium easily treatable in safety and environmental aspect and metal particulates with a uniform particle diameter having excellent electrical conductivity or the like, and further having physical properties suitable for various printing methods and coating methods. SOLUTION: Metal particulates precipitated by reducing metal ions in water and having a primary particle diameter of≤200 nm are dispersed into a mixed solvent of water and a water-soluble organic solvent as a dispersion medium in the presence of a dispersing agent having a molecular weight of 200 to 30,000.
