PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental adhesive which imparts excellent dentin adhesive properties even when various irradiators such as a dental halogen lamp, an LED, a xenon lamp, etc. are used. SOLUTION: The hardenable composition comprises a clathrate compound, a radical-polymerizable monomer, a polymerization initiator, and water. Particularly, when the hardenable composition is used in a mode of a one-step dental adhesion composition, the composition is the one-step dental adhesive showing the excellent dentin adhesive properties substantially in either case of a homogeneous or a heterogeneous solution at room temperature.
