RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR INNER LINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and processability of an uncured rubber composition comprising a butyl rubber without exerting bad influences on air permeation resistance. SOLUTION: This rubber composition for inner liners comprises 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component consisting of 40-95 pts.wt. of the butyl rubber and 5-60 pts.wt. of an isoprene rubber, 2-50 pts.wt. of an organized layered clay mineral comprising a layered clay mineral subjected to an organization treatment with an organic compound bearing an ammonium group and an amino group in one molecule, 1-20 pts.wt. of a liquid polybutene bearing a functional group reactive with the amino group, and 1-30 pts.wt. of a liquid polyisoprene bearing a functional group reactive with the amino group.
