PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly perform paper alignment of a paper end in a width direction of the paper without folding the paper end in the width direction of the paper by a paper approaching plate and to reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A first lever member 18 is pivoted around a pivot shaft 17 through a cam follower 20 contacted with a cam surface of a driving transmission cam 16 interlocked and rotated with driving of the device. Distal ends of the papers stacked on a paper delivery pile is aligned by reciprocating front abutment by the pivoting. A head part 35a of a connection bar 35 is pivotally mounted to one end of the first lever member 18 and a screw part 35b at the other end side of the connection bar 35 is inserted into a through hole of a stud 34 pivotally mounted to the second lever 30. A nut 36 is thread-engagement with the screw part 35b of the connection bar 35 and a compression coil spring 37 is resiliently provided between the stud 34 and the head part 35a of the connection bar 35. When the first lever member 18 is pivoted, the second lever member 30 is pivoted through the compression coil spring 37 and side ends of the papers stacked on the paper delivery pile are aligned by reciprocation motion of the paper approaching plate.
