PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an austenitic stainless steel thin strip bloom and a cold rolled product having magnetizability without impairing general quality. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting of an austenitic stainless steel plate and a thin strip containing high welding material delta which consists of aδferrite quantity of 6-20% in volume %, a Cr segregation of residualδferrite phase≥1.06, and an Ni segregation≤0.85; time in the temperature≥1,150°C after the separation of the bloom from a cooling drum until a hot rolling mill is set≥5 seconds, with hot rolling imparted for 15-30%, for the purpose of manufacturing a hot rolled steel plate with a thickness≤3 mm.
