PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for evaluating chromosomal abnormality before birth. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises (A) a means for calculating pre-examination risk of a pregnant woman having a fetus with abnormality, (B) a mean for determining a gestational age inconsistency value of the pregnant woman by calculating gestational age difference determined by a method by the last menstrual period of the pregnant woman and a method by biological measurement of the fetus of the pregnant woman, (C) a means for calculating a first probability that the gestational age inconsistency value is a part of Gaussian distribution of the gestational age inconsistency value observed in pregnancy with fetal abnormality, (D) a means for calculating a second probability that the gestational age inconsistency value is a part of Gaussian distribution of the gestational age inconsistency value observed in unaffected pregnancy, (E) a means for calculating a probability which is the ratio of the first probability and the second probability, and (F) a means for evaluating the risk of abnormality of the fetus of the pregnant woman before birth by correcting the pre-examination risk of the pregnant woman by the probability.
