PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing scatter preventing device using ropes, composed of two fixtures mounted to a clothes pole, and four ropes parallel with the clothes pole, formed through the fixtures. SOLUTION: The fixtures A, B are mounted to the clothes pole with a space enough to hang washing. The extensible rope 19 is stretched taut with the end 20 passing through from a hole 1 to a hole 3 and with the end 21 from a hole 2 to a hole 4, and tied on the back side of the fixture B and fixed. Then the rope 19 is stretched taut with the end 20 passing through from a hole 8 to a cutout 6 for hooking the rope and with the end 21 from a hole 7 to a cutout 5.
