PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hanger from being unstabilized in position as the result of inclination due to use for long yeas by firmly fixing the hanger to a backrest. SOLUTION: In a chair with the hanger provided with the hanger in rear of the backrest of the chair, recessed parts 19 each having an open back are formed on the rear surface of an inner shell 7 in the backrest consisting of the inner shell 7 and an outer shell 8. On the deep surface 20 of the recessed part 19, a female screw part 21 is provided. At a support member 24 at the hanger consisting of support rods 23 with a hanger main body 22 fitted to their upper ends and the support member 24 supporting the support rods 23, projection parts 30 to fit with the recessed parts 19 are provided. Through via holes 31b provided at the projection parts 30, bolts 38 are extended to be screw-fitted with the female screw parts 21 to fix the hanger to the rear surface of the backrest.
