PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional manual feed threshing device to lift a rake-in reel and stop the drive simultaneous to a reaping apparatus comprising the troublesome load-demanding operation for the manual feed threshing necessitating the operation after getting off from the cabin because the operation levers are placed on a machine frame of the reap-pretreating device outside of the cabin. SOLUTION: The reap-pretreating device 5 of the manual feed threshing device for a general-purpose combine harvester is composed of a reaping device 1, a rake-in auger 2, a transfer conveyor 3 and a rake-in reel 4 rotatably supported above the reaping device 1. A manual feed threshing switch 9 is placed in a cabin 8, and the transmission between the reaping device 1 and the rake-in reel 4 is disconnected and the rake-in reel 4 is lifted by throwing the manual feed threshing switch 9.
