PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod, in which a grip of the fishing rod is improved, being readily operable for anglers and fixable to fishing spots. SOLUTION: The fishing rod 10 has a fishing rod body 11 and a grip 12 provided in the rear end of the rod body 11. A plurality of through holes 26-30 are provided in the grip 12. These through holes 26-30 are arranged in rows in the longitudinal direction of the rod body 11 and formed and penetrated in the radial direction of the rod body 11.
