The method for anesthesia in the implantation of complete hip joint prosthesis provides for intravenous administration of the drugs. At the stage of premedication, Cetanal as non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug is used at a single dose of 50 mg, 30-40 minutes before the beginning of the surgery. Propofol infusion is used for the induction and the maintenance of anesthesia. The inducing dose is 1-2 mg/kg/h, while the maintenance dose is 6-12 mg/kg/h for the patients of class I-II of anesthesiology risk and 2-4 mg/kg/h for the patients of class III-IV of anesthesiology risk.
