<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which reproducibility in restoring processed image data to unprocessed one is improved, an image forming apparatus, an image processing method, an image processing program, and a recording medium with the image processing program recorded thereon. <P>SOLUTION: Halftone image data prepared by multivalued dither processing in a halftone output gradation processing part 28 is stored in an image storing part 29 together with a conversion table used in the multivalued dither processing. An inverse halftone processing part 30 restores image data before the multivalued dither processing from the halftone image data on the conversion table. Since pixels that have been subjected to irreversible conversion by the multivalued dither processing can not be restored, the density value of the pixels which cannot be restored is determined on the basis of the density value of pixels that can be restored among other pixels processed by the same dither matrix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
