<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display progress of print operation for each page and the total number of remaining print sheets inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 16 calculates the number of remaining print sheets 1 and a display controller 26 displays the number of remaining print sheets 1 on an LCD 28. The CPU 16 calculates the unit movement time ΔT of an indicator by dividing the print time T1 of each image per sheet by the total number of movement of the indicator I on the LCD 28.
