<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave spring capable of suppressing displacement of a part of a C-type wave spring in the direction of a rotational axis. <P>SOLUTION: A C-type wave spring 10 comprises a plurality of ridge parts 11 and valley parts 12 formed alternately in a circumferential direction, and an opening part 13 formed at a part of the circumferential direction. The wave spring 10 comprises a connection part 14 at the opposite position in circumferential direction relative to the opening part 13, and adjoining valley parts 12 are connected together through the connection part 14.
