<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inserting a sewer-line repair material capable of largely shortening workhours because of an extreme safety and an easy operation, an inserter and a protective member for an insertion. <P>SOLUTION: Roller bodies 3a and 3b are disposed on the upper side of a base for a carrying-roller base 3 in the vertical direction, and a repair-material inserting guide 2 obliguely installed to a lower section towards the base 3 is connected on the base 3. The guide 2 is composed of a lower guide 2a formed by upwards curving both-side edge sections in the longitudinal direction so that the upper section of an approximately rectangular stainless steel plate is opened and an upper guide 2b formed by downwards curving both-side edge sections in the longitudinal direction so that the lower section of the approximately rectangular stainless steel plate having a length of approximately one third of the lower guide 2a is opened.
