<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to secure high security performance since it is possible to access the significant data of a conventional IC card based on personal password collation. <P>SOLUTION: This IC card has a function to authenticate a specific IC card(e.g. the IC card of Mr. C) by using one or more IC cards(e.g. the IC cards of Mr. A and Mr. B) in order to permit file access to the authenticated specific IC card. The specific IC card is provided with an authenticating means having a file in which the significant data of an access control object are stored for, when the other IC cards obtain the collation results based on their personal passwords, and input the collation results to the specific IC card, performing authentication to the collation results, a collating means for inputting the password of the owner to the specific IC card, and for collating the password with the preliminarily stored password and a control function for permitting the read/write of the significant data of the file when the authentication and collation is successful. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
