PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of issuing various instructions to terminals in accordance with the combination of a contact state of a finger with a determine key and of pressing of a direction key. SOLUTION: A contact with the determine key is detected, thereby distinguishably issuing an instruction which is issued when the direction key is pressed while touching the determine key, and an instruction which is issued when the direction key is pressed without touching the determine key.
