PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker, harmonic distortion of which can be furthermore reduced by selecting an edge diameter at a cross-section of a second edge connected to a suspension holder being a component of the speaker to be greater than an edge diameter at the cross-section of a first edge connected to a diaphragm. SOLUTION: A magnetic circuit 1 arranged in the middle of a bottom of a frame 5 is formed by combining and adhering a magnet 10, a plate 11, and a yoke 12 and a magnetic gap 13 open toward an upper side is provided. A voice coil body 2 is structured such that a coil 2b is wound on an outer circumferential part of a cylindrical main body 2a, arranged slidably to the magnetic gap 13 and drives the diaphragm 3 by its slide motion. The diaphragm 3 is structured such that its inner circumferential end part is connected to an upper part of the voice coil body 2, its outer circumferential edge part is connected to an opening end part of the frame 5 via a first edge 4, and its bottom side is connected to the frame 5 via the suspension holder 6 and a second edge 7.
