PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-voltage conversion circuit which not only simultaneously satisfy a wide band frequency characteristic and a low noise characteristic but also will not generate an overshoot voltage and an undershoot voltage. SOLUTION: The circuit comprises a buffer circuit 1 for receiving an output signal of an optical sensor 12 and outputting a signal having correlation with this signal, a buffer circuit 2 for receiving an output signal of a reference voltage source 13 and outputting having correlation with this signal, a differential amplifier circuit 11 for inputting the output signal of the buffer circuit 1 into an inverse input terminal and inputting an output signal of the buffer circuit 2 into a noninverse input terminal, and a current-voltage conversion resistor Rf provided between a terminal IN to which the output terminal of the optical sensor is connected and a terminal OUT as the output terminal of the differential amplifier circuit.
