PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data receiver which seamlessly switches over a plurality of data streams of demodulated received signals in two or more systems by receivers for the respective systems, if there appears a time error between the data streams. SOLUTION: The receiver comprises memories 34A, 34B for temporarily storing a plurality of data streams (data clocks) obtained by demodulating received signals in two or more systems by receivers for the respective systems with the respective system clocks, write controllers 39A, 39B for controlling the write of the plurality of data streams in the memories, a data read out controller 37 for reading out the plurality of data streams temporarily stored in the memories at once about the systems, and a selector 31 for selecting and outputting one system of the read data streams. The write controller detects packets existing in the plurality of data streams one packet per frame, and writes the plurality of data streams in the memories, based on the detection.
